Brazil Bird Banding and Molt Analysis Course
I partner with Dr. Gonçalo Ferraz to conduct regular bird banding and molt analysis courses at two locations in Brazil: near Manaus (at the Biological Dynamics of Forest Fragmentation project) and near Porto Alegre (at Pró-Mata). These are week-long lecture and field-based intensive courses that focus on safe and ethical bird banding practices, as well as advanced bird age classification using the WRP system.
Central Africa Wildlife Techniques
In partnership with Biodiversity Initiative, I conduct regular week-long intensive courses focused on contemporary mammal and avian survey techniques. These workshops cater to university students and government biologists in Equatorial Guinea and Cameroon, Central Africa.
