Examples using WRP
Below I provide photographic examples representative of replacement strategies in tropical landbirds, including (1) partial preformative molt, (2) limited auxiliary preformative followed by a complete preformative molt, (3) preformative molt followed by delayed plumage maturation, and (4) complete preformative molt.
